- Put the cd you want to rip in your CD drive.
- Select Rip CD when asked.
The ripping process begins automatically. The files are ripped according to the default encoding settings in Tools > Options > Encoding, Encoding for CD Ripping.
If the CD will only rip when logged in with admin privileges, try Ripping without Admin Privileges
Modify the Encoding Settings
- In the Action Window, select Rip CD.
- In the Rip CD Action Window, go to Options > Encoding.
- Select OK to return to the Action Window, and select Rip.
Modify the File Location and Filenames
- In the Action Window, select Rip CD.
- In the Rip CD Action Window, go to Options > File Location.
- Select OK to return to the Action Window, and select Rip.
Modify the number of tracks to rip
- In the Action Window, select Rip CD.
- In the Rip CD Action Window, select Details.
- Uncheck the tracks you want to skip.
More Options
There are additional CD Settings you can enable, including:
- Get Cover Art from the internet after ripping
- Get tag information automatically from YADB
- Analyze Audio during Ripping
- Eject the CD after Ripping or Play a Sound.
To access these options, select Rip CD in the Action Window and then select Options > CD.
