Pages that were in this category should be in [[:Category:{{{1}}}]].

This category page should be empty. All entries should be recategorized under [[:Category:{{{1}}}]]. Pages and subcategories found in this category may (from time to time) be swept over to the new category by a bot. Any assistance in making these changes is greatly appreciated.

Description

This template adds a category page to Category redirects while indicating to viewers that the category should not be used and pointing to the desired alternative.

Syntax

To redirect from Category:1921 deaths to Category:Died in 1921 if the latter already exists, simply add the following to Category:1921 deaths:

{{category redirect|Died in 1921}}

Notes

• Please do not use subst: on the template.
• This template should be used only on category pages.
