Are you using the most current version? If not, please try it.

Reboot, reinstall, reinstall your license.

Uninstall any third party software.

Turn off auto-import. It's under tools/options/libraries.

Copy your system info from MC help and post it on the forum.

Here's a long list of problems caused by other software or hardware. Please read from the bottom up, since the newest problems are last.

Turn on MC's logging in Help. After a crash, open the "Previous log" and save it. Look for the word "crash" in the log. Consider posting on Interact with a description and a link to the log or include the last hundred lines or so of the log.

Many crashes are related to hardware. Any "blue screen", for example, is likely to be a hardware or driver issue. Some machines are not stable under heavy use. The fact that other software works may only say that other software doesn't stress the machine in the same way. If you have more than one stick of RAM, consider using just one at a time in order to test.
