Special Price for Upgrades from Media Jukebox 8.0

Great news! Through the end of July, you can upgrade to J. River Media Center 13 for $18.98. That's 24% off the regular upgrade price.

As a bonus, the license you will receive is an MC14 license that will work with either MC13 or MC14. See below for more details.

J. River Media Center 14 beta has begun

Preview versions of MC14 are now available on the MC14 board on Interact. Please expect the MC14 price to increase to $49.98, with upgrades at $24.98.

Here's a partial list of new features in MC13.

How to Upgrade

1. Download J. River Media Center 13.0.172. MC13 can co-exist with MC11.1 or MC12.0, and it can convert the old libraries to the new format. Only this build and newer will deliver an MC14 license. More here.

2. To get the upgrade price, you must have installed and licensed Media Jukebox 8. Download here. You can recover your license, usually by using the Registration Code you received by e-mail from buy-button at jriver. You can enter it on the Restore Page. On the Restore Page, you can also ask to have your license e-mailed to you, and you can change your e-mail address if necessary.

3. When you choose "Buy" in MC13, you should see these prices: First time purchase: $44.98 or Upgrade purchase: $18.98 (regular $24.98).

(If you think you should see an upgrade price, but you don't, then verify that you have a licensed copy installed. MJ7 and earlier versions don't qualify for the upgrade price.)

Converting MJ8 Libraries

We recommend that you start fresh and let MC13 import your media files.

It is possible to install each upgrade, one by one and let them convert your old libraries. Some upgrades will do the last two versions. For example, install MC9 to convert an MJ8 library.

Most old versions can be found here. MC9 is here.
