J. River Media Center 14 beta has begun

The first public builds of MC14 will be out in a month or so. Please expect the MC14 price to increase to $49.98, with upgrades at $24.98.

Special pricing on J. River Media Center 13.0 Release (Includes a 14.0 license)

When you purchase MC13 after June 2, 2009, you receive an MC14 license that will work with MC13.0.171 or the early versions of MC14.

How to Switch

1. Download J. River Media Center 13.0.171. MC13 can co-exist with MC11.1 or MC12.0, and it can convert the old libraries to the new format. Only this build and newer will deliver an MC14 license. More here.

2. To get the upgrade price, make sure you have installed and licensed any copy of any older version, back to Media Jukebox 8 or Media Center 9. If you need to retrieve older builds or find your license, please see this thread.

When you choose "Buy" in MC13, you should see these prices:

First time purchase: $34.98 (regular $39.98) or Upgrade purchase: $19.98 (regular $22.98). [Note that these special prices have ended. Prices are now $44.98 and $24.98.]

(If you think you should see an upgrade price, but you don't, then double check that you have a licensed copy installed. MJ7 and earlier versions don't qualify for the upgrade price.)
