Overview of the Scripting Plugin

The Scripting Plugin main interface
The Scripting Plugin for JRiver Media Center is a 3rd party plugin, & is available from the Interface Plugins section of the Media Center Plugins & Accessories page-

http://accessories.jriver.com/mediacenter/accessories.php

The Scripting Plugin was developed by Mr ChriZ, and allows users to run scripts created in either C# or VB.Net. Scripts created using the scripting plugin in general have access to the full range of features offered by the Media Center automation interface, and beyond as they retain full access to the .Net framework. This is the main forum thread for the plugin, ask here if you require help or support!- http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=38693

Available Scripts

A range of scripts have been created by the forum users. These include:

  • A script to import information from a text file to library fields.
  • Scripts for modifying various aspects of filenames & paths.
  • A script for remuxing your media into MKV format.

In general, you'll find most scripts posted or linked to in this forum thread- http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=33020.0
