Some files already contain information about their content. For example, an mp3 may include the artist, album and track name, so that when you import it, that information is displayed. This information is stored in an id3 tag. When you import files, Media Center reads the id3 tags and inserts the information into the proper fields (title, genre, etc). We recommend using this default setting, otherwise you will limit the information retrieved from the file. To disable it:
