Convolution

Convolution depends on using a microphone to make measurements of a room's acoustic response in order to make fine adjustments for multiple frequencies. It can add or subtract decibels and delays.

This feature was added in Media Center 17.0.

Considerations

Turn off VideoClock when using convolution. VideoClock adjusts the timing of the audio signal to maintain a perfect sync with the video and this causes problems for convolution.
