DVD Playback Fails

Windows Vista and Windows 7

  1. Go to Tools/Options/Video in Media Center.
  2. Under "Audio for Video, DVD, & Television", there are two settings:
    1. First make sure audio works then set video to the same
    2. tell us what connection you're using
    3. check dsp settings if using "same as audio" especially "output format" page (trial and error)
    4. if sound stutters, reduce buffering, or use
  3. under decoders, etc. pick DVD
    1. automatic
