Upgrade to MC21
This is an OLD PAGE
Please see the new one: http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Upgrade
This upgrade is for Windows. There are two other license upgrades available:
A Mac upgrade.
and
A Master License Upgrade (for Mac, Windows, and Linux).
Thanks for considering an upgrade. You can upgrade for $26.98 from any Windows version of Media Center all the way back to MC10, or from Media Jukebox 8.
Download from the Download Page and install.
When you purchase, you will receive an MC21 license that works with both MC20 and MC21 when it is released.
How to Upgrade and Purchase
If you have never purchased MC, just download and install it, then purchase from within the program. You will receive an MC21 license that also works with MC20.
If you already own MC, you can purchase an MC21 upgrade license by using this webpage: Purchase MC21 for Windows Upgrade
Please double check the price before accepting. Do not continue if the price is not the upgrade price. You will need to have the license code for a prior version installed or entered to receive the upgrade price.
If you aren't sure what to do, please read Upgrade Help.
A License That Works with Two Versions
If you purchased MC20 after June 15, 2015, the license you received is an MC21 license that works with both MC20 and MC21 when it is released.
Recovering Your License
- Old versions of MC can be found here.
- You can restore your license for any version back to MJ8, by using the Registration Code you received by e-mail from buy-button at jriver. You can enter it on the Restore Page.
- If you can't find the e-mail, you can use the Restore Page option #2 to ask our license server to e-mail you your licenses. You can also change your e-mail address there if necessary.
- If you have questions, please post on Interact.
XP Users Only
Please expect diminished or non-existent video support on XP in future builds of MC. This does not apply to other versions of Windows.
