Set Media Center to automatically create log files to help troubleshoot problems.
- Go to Help > Logging.
- Check "Output to a log file" checkbox.
- Select which events to log: General, Skinning, SDK, Reader, Service, Handheld, Playback, Database, Import, Encoders, Sharing Plugins, TV and/or CD. It is best to only select the item that your are troubleshooting, to eliminate unnecessary information in the log file.
Log files are saved in c:\Document Settings\user_name\Application Data\J River\[Program Name]\log.txt
To view the log file, go to Help > Logging and select Click to View Current Log File.
To reset a log file, go to Help > Logging and select Click to Reset Log File.
