What the TV Stick does
With a good tuner, you can use J. River Media Center to watch television. Over the air TV in the U.S. is completely digital now, so the picture is excellent.
The USB tuner we offer is the white object at the bottom of the picture above. It's ATSC (standard in the U.S.). It comes with a small antenna, a USB extension cable, and a driver disk. Supports digital up to 1920x1080i.
It's a very good tuner at a great price.

Setup Instructions
If your amplifier and TV have HDMI connectors, this will be the best method. The signal is both digital audio and digital video.
Because the Synapse is best used with a Media Center Remote, it does not include a keyboard or mouse, but you can add these if needed.
