Where does the Menu Bar item belong? It's also under Screen Parts but I think it should be more prominent than that. But it doesn't seem to fit into the organizational structure of this page. Ideas? Gateley 07:40, 31 December 2006 (CST)

I think this page should be reorganized into different sections instead of having one huge More section. Jeff 12:23, 31 December 2006 (CST)

Agreed. Unless someone beats me to it, I'll come up with some ideas tomorrow when I return to work... Gateley 07:59, 1 January 2007 (CST)

Media Center Manual Beta work in progress Gateley 10:38, 3 January 2007 (CST)

Okay, the first draft of the beta manual is ready. It just an outline to use for redoing the Media Center page. Instead of a big huge more section, there would be 12 sections (thus generating a table of contents). Some of the 12 sections will point to new pages, others will just be already existing material. Comments? Gateley 16:10, 3 January 2007 (CST)

The manual beta looks like a good start. I would suggest that after YADB, there be a new main section called something like "External Programs" or "Other Programs" and inside there put the sections Media Editor and Download Manager. Basically in this I would include all the programs that are included in the MC 12 Start Programs group: CD Labeler, Check for Updates, Media Editor, Media Server. BTW, in my MC 12 group there is no Download Manager and Media Scheduler like there was for MC 11. Not sure if that is an oversight or they were removed. I see in MC under Services that the Scheduler can be found but not sure how to get to Download Manager and can't even find it in the MC 12 folder. Jeff 07:59, 4 January 2007 (CST)

Looks very good and makes it much easier to find things. Jeff 15:28, 5 January 2007 (CST)

One suggestion instead of putting text like "needs to be completed" is to just put the page name and it will end up showing by default in red so when you go there it will be a blank page. I saw some of these when I was going through editing and figured there must be some way to find the blank pages and there is. At the left, go to Toolbox - Special Pages - Wanted Pages. I would think the goal would be to have no wanted pages. Jeff 15:38, 5 January 2007 (CST)

Cool! I'd been looking for a way to do that (find blank pages). Gateley 15:57, 5 January 2007 (CST)

Looks much better now. Thanks again Jeff. Now, do you know how to find all orphaned pages, excluding categories? I'd like to find the pages that aren't linked to, but the Special Pages Orphans gives me all the categories too. Gateley 16:00, 5 January 2007 (CST)
